Dr. J. Crawford Dobson, MD, FRCS (C)
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Dr. Dobson is a leading Orthopaedic Surgeon, a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Dr. Dobson obtained his Fellowship in Sports Medicine in Ottawa and provided orthopaedic expertise to the Ottawa Roughriders, the University of Ottawa, and Carlton Varsity teams. Over the past 15 years Dr. Dobson has treated elite local, national and international athletes. He is currently affiliated with the Peterborough Petes Junior “A” hockey team.

Kylie Gibson,

Registered Physiotherapist & Athletic Therapist
Kylie Gibson is a Registered Physiotherapist. Preceded by her enthusiasm, she is a strong proponent of better health through prevention and evidence based, goal focused rehabilitation. Kylie is tremendously active in the community. She performs Backpack Safety Awareness programs for area schools, walking and running injury seminars, teaches a preventative physiotherapy program to GE nuclear workers, provides athletic therapy services for Lakefield College School and Trent University Varsity Teams. Kylie holds a Masters of Physiotherapy degree from McMaster University, an Honours Bachelor of Science from York University, and a Diploma in Sport Physiotherapy. She has completed post-graduate courses in neural pathodynamics (neural tissue problems), therapies related to the thoracic spine, manual therapy, vestibular rehabilitation (treatment for dizziness and vertigo), Soft Tissue Release Therapy and First Responder Certification.
David Kervin,

Registered Massage Therapist
David graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in 1999. He has worked in private practice for 11 years and joined the team at Trent Health In Motion in September of 2005. Dave has completed is Active Release Therapy certification for the Lower Extremity and has been incorporating these treatment techniques into practice for many local elite runners and cyclists. Outside of work Dave spends evenings training with the Peterborough Cycling Club and competes across the province during the cycling season.
Catherine Duffy, BA (Kin), CAT(c), RMT
Certified Athletic Therapist, Registered Massage Therapist,Certified Kinesiologist
Catherine graduated from Brock University with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and went on to Sheridan College where she furthered her studies and completed a degree in Applied Health Science, specializing in Athletic Therapy. She has recently completed the Massage Therapy Diploma program at the Ontario College of Health & Technology and also practices as a Registered Massage Therapist. Catherine has extensive experience working in both the field and clinical settings. Her experience in the field extends from working with National Lacrosse league players and Division 1 school athletes in the USA, to camp and tournament coverage with Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment. Catherine enjoys working with the pediatric population and has experience in hydrotherapy rehab design.
Carrie Dunford,
PTA
Physiotherapy Assistant
Carrie completed the OTA/PTA program at Fleming College in 2004 and joined our group of clinics at that time. Carrie has a special interest in sports injuries and has completed athletic taping coursework.
Candice Thomas,
BAHSc, CAT(C)
Certified Athletic Therapist
Candice graduated from Sheridan College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning with a Bachelor of Applied Health Science Athletic Therapy. Her diverse experience includes; Head Athletic Therapist for the Canadian U19 Cricket team, Set Medic for a movie production, advanced hydrotherapy rehab, and therapist for varsity football and College basketball teams. Candice is a member of the Canadian Athletic Therapists Association, the National Athletic Trainers Association, the Hockey Trainers Certification Program and is First Responder CPR/AED level HCP certified.
Dr. Robyn Walters, PhD, CSCS
Exercise Physiologist
Robyn graduated from Pennsylvania State University with an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Masters of Science in Kinesiology. She received her PhD in Kinesiology with a specialization in Psychophysiology of Exercise and Sport from the University of Maryland. From 1996- 2004 Robyn was Assistant Professor of Exercise Science and Director of the Exercise Science Testing Service and Personal Health Program at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ. Robyn is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) with the National Strength and Conditioning Association. She is currently a lecturer in the Department of Psychology at Trent University.
